The Universal Ceiling Fan Remote Control Kit has several key features and instructions for use:

(a) When the new device cannot be remote-controlled, please check to see whether the barcodes in the emitter and receiver are consistent, whether the indicator light on the emitter is working, whether the cable of the receiver is connected properly, and whether the buzzer beeps once when power is turned on.

(b) When the receiver cannot be controlled by the emitter, please check to see whether the battery contact is normal and whether the power is sufficient. Please replace the battery in a timely manner when it is out of power.

(c) Insensitive remote control is probably due to an interfering environment and low battery.

(d) Please remove the battery when the device is not in use for a long time.

(e) Please wire properly in strict accordance with the parameters on the labels. Otherwise, it will directly shorten the life of this device or cause immediate malfunction. The antenna must not be connected to other wires.

(f) When there is a code switch on the fan, please turn the fan to the highest gear before remote controlling.

(g) The receiver beeps when you click the remote, which might bother some people.

(h) Please make sure there is enough space in the canopy of the fan, or the receiver has to be fitted beside.

This ceiling fan remote control kit is specifically designed to work with almost 98% of regular ceiling fans, such as Hampton Bay and Harbor Breeze fans. It converts a traditional ceiling fan with lights into a remote-controllable one. The scope of application includes home, restaurant, office, hotel, the club, and garage.

To use the kit, follow these steps:

1. Press the Light & HI button together (the LED located at the button of the remote control flashes simultaneously) until you hear 3 beep sounds from the receiver.
2. The pairing process is completed.

To clear or reset the RF remote control:

1. Pick the remote control you wish to reset.
2. Press the light button 5 times until you hear a long beep.
3. The Remote Control resets and is no longer paired with the receiver.

The kit can work well with LED bulbs and incandescent bulbs, but not with CFL bulbs. The receiver does not have the function of Reverse.

If you have a PULL CHAINS SWITCH, before using the wireless remote control, use the PULL CHAINS SWITCH to turn the wind speed to maximum and turn the fan light on. Only in this way can the PULL CHAINS SWITCH and wireless remote control be used together.

Installation is straightforward, and the kit includes 5 pcs Screw connectors, so no additional tools or accessories are needed to connect the wires. However, it is important to check the dimension of the receiver carefully to ensure there is enough space in the canopy of your fan.
