A doorbell system comprises four essential components: a doorbell chime, a push button, a transformer, and the connecting wiring, all of which are intricately linked (refer to the wiring diagrams below). Notably, if an issue arises with the chime, the chime may not necessarily be the sole source of the problem. CHIME BASE ONLY: This item DOES NOT include the cover and doorbell button. Search CHM3DCOVER for a compatible cover with this chime mechanism or CHM3D for the chime base AND cover. It will also fit most Nutone models (dimensions are 6.75 L x 4.75 W x 1.75 depth inches), including LA11BG, LA11WH, KA10, LA109, KB10, L12, L14, CD130, LA110, LA111, LA114, LA116, LA117, LA119, LA12, LA13, LA130, LA14, LA140, LA141, LA144, LA148, LA14WH, LA143, LA149, LA30SAVVY, LA37, LA15, LA9, LB13, LB12, LB14, LD21, VG130, and VG190.

TWO SOUNDS: This chime offers a classic two-note "Ding Dong" sound for the front door button and an additional "Dong" for the rear or side door.

DIMENSIONS: Base: 6.75" L x 4.75" W Overall Depth: 1.75". Please measure your old chime before making a purchase to ensure compatibility.

COMPATIBILITY: Use with a 16-volt/10 VA or 16-volt/15 VA transformer (not included) when connecting to a regular doorbell. Search "16TR" or "3TRAN" for a compatible transformer.
